On January 31, 2020, Adient plc (the “Company”) issued a news release announcing its financial results for the first quarter ended December 31, 2019. The news release is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and is incorporated herein by reference.

On January 28, 2020, the Company filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission its definitive proxy statement for its 2020 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders to be held on March 12, 2020 in Dublin, Ireland. Julie L. Bushman, current Company director and director nominee as identified in the proxy statement, will be retiring as of April 1, 2020 from 3M Company as Executive Vice President, International Operations after 36 years of service with 3M.
