Item 2.02.Results of Operations and Financial Condition.

 

On February 10, 2020, Elite Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (“Elite” or the “Company”) filed its quarterly report on Form 10-Q for the quarter ended December 31, 2019 and, thereafter, issued a press release announcing its financial results for that quarter. A copy of the press release is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 hereto and is incorporated herein by reference.

 

As noted in the press release, the Company will host a conference call at 11:00 AM Eastern Standard Time (EST) on Tuesday, February 11, 2020, to provide a general business update. Elite will respond to various stockholder questions submitted prior to the call.

Northvale, NJ – February 10, 2020: Elite Pharmaceuticals, Inc. ("Elite" or the “Company") (OTCBB: ELTP), a specialty pharmaceutical company developing niche generic products, announced results for the third quarter of fiscal year 2020 ended December 31, 2019 (“Third Quarter”).

 

Consolidated revenues for the Third Quarter were $5.1 million, an increase of approximately 88% as compared to revenues for the comparable quarter of the prior fiscal year. The increase in revenues was largely attributed to revenues from the two products launched during the 2020 Fiscal Year, generic immediate release Adderall® and Dantrolene Capsules as well as strong growth in revenues relating to the sales of Isradipine capsules.
