On December 23, 2022, Innovative Eyewear, Inc. (the “Company”) entered into a multi-year global licensing agreement with Authentic Brands Group (the “License Agreement”) for the outdoor brand Eddie Bauer® for smart eyewear. Pursuant to the License Agreement, the Company will utilize the historic apparel brand Eddie Bauer for its smart eyewear products.
The Company issued a press release announcing the entrance into the License Agreement, which has been filed as Exhibit 99.1, to this Current Report on Form 8-K.

Innovative Eyewear, Inc. Announces Multi-Year, Global Licensing
Agreement with Authentic Brands Group for Eddie Bauer® Smart Eyewear
(December 28, 2022) — Innovative Eyewear, Inc. (“Innovative Eyewear” or the “Company”) (NASDAQ: LUCY; LUCYW), the developer and retailer of smart eyewear under the Lucyd® and Nautica® brands, is pleased to announce that through an agreement with Authentic Brands Group (Authentic), it has licensed the iconic outdoor brand Eddie Bauer® for smart eyewear.
