Item 7.01    Regulation FD Disclosure

On November 16, 2022, Matthews International Corporation (the "Company") issued a press release announcing the declaration of a quarterly dividend of $0.23 per share on the Company’s common stock. The dividend is payable December 12, 2022 to stockholders of record November 28, 2022. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.

MATTHEWS INTERNATIONAL INCREASES QUARTERLY DIVIDEND

PITTSBURGH, PA, NOVEMBER 16, 2022- Matthews International Corporation (NASDAQ GSM: MATW) announced that its Board of Directors declared, at its regularly scheduled meeting today, a dividend of $0.23 per share on the Company’s common stock, representing an increase to the Company’s quarterly dividend rate.

Joseph C. Bartolacci, President and Chief Executive Officer, stated: “During fiscal 2022, we continued to demonstrate the stability of our strong cash flow profile, which enabled the funding of our recent acquisition and other strategic capital investments. This dividend increase reflects the Board’s continued confidence in the strength and stability of our cash flow in fiscal 2023. This represents our 29th consecutive annual dividend increase since becoming a publicly-traded company.”

The dividend is payable December 12, 2022 to stockholders of record November 28, 2022.
