Departure of Director

On November 30, 2021, Ms. Yun Xia tendered her resignation as a director and a member of the audit committee, the nominating committee and the compensation committee of the board of directors of China Xiangtai Food Co., Ltd. (the “Company”), effective November 30, 2021. Ms. Xia’s resignation is not the result of any disagreement with the Company’s operations, policies or procedures.
