The Board of Directors declared a quarterly cash dividend on the Company’s common stock and approved an increase to 90 cents per share, or $3.60 annually. The dividend declared on April 13, 2022, is payable May 13, 2022, to shareholders of record at the close of business on April 29, 2022.

COSTCO WHOLESALE CORPORATION ANNOUNCES AN INCREASE IN
ITS QUARTERLY CASH DIVIDEND
ISSAQUAH, Wash., April 13, 2022—Costco Wholesale Corporation (“Costco” or the “Company”) (Nasdaq: COST) today announced that its Board of Directors has declared a quarterly cash dividend on Costco common stock and approved a quarterly increase from 79 to 90 cents per share, $3.60 on an annualized basis. The dividend is payable May 13, 2022, to shareholders of record at the close of business on April 29, 2022.
Costco currently operates 829 warehouses, including 573 in the United States and Puerto Rico, 105 in Canada, 40 in Mexico, 30 in Japan, 29 in the United Kingdom, 16 in Korea, 14 in Taiwan, 13 in Australia, four in Spain, two each in France and China, and one in Iceland. Costco also operates e-commerce sites in the U.S., Canada, the United Kingdom, Mexico, Korea, Taiwan, Japan, and Australia.
