On March 17, 2020, Capri Holdings Limited (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing its fourth quarter and fiscal 2020 guidance provided on February 5, 2020 did not incorporate a negative impact from COVID-19 beyond China. The Company will provide any further updates on its year end Fiscal 2020 earnings call.

Capri Holdings Limited Provides COVID-19 Related Business Update

London — March 17, 2020 — Capri Holdings Limited (NYSE:CPRI), a global fashion luxury group, today announced that to help protect the health and safety of its employees, consumers and the communities where the Company operates, Capri Holdings Limited will temporarily close all directly operated Versace, Jimmy Choo and Michael Kors stores in North America from March 18 and in Europe from March 19 through April 10, 2020. The Company remains committed to paying its store employees during this period. Across all regions, customers can continue to shop on each of the luxury houses’ websites, Versace.com, JimmyChoo.com and MichaelKors.com.
John Idol, the Company’s Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, said, “We are facing an unprecedented global pandemic. Our first priority is to help protect our employees, consumers, partners and communities and to ensure we are doing our part to prevent the spread of COVID-19. I am proud of our team and our partners as they support each other and their communities during this time of uncertainty.”
