Item 8.01 – Other Events.

As previously disclosed in its Current Report on Form 8-K filed on November 26, 2025, Greenidge Generation Holdings Inc. (the “Company”) reported that, on November 23, 2025, the Dresden, NY power generation facility (the “Facility”) owned by Greenidge Generation LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company, experienced an electrical switchgear failure and resulting fire (such event, the “Incident”), which was contained and resulted in the immediate and complete de-energization of the Facility pursuant to automated safety protocols.

On December 9, 2025, the Facility resumed normal operations, approximately two weeks after the Incident. The Incident did not result in any damage to the Company's owned or hosted Bitcoin miners located at the Facility and caused limited damage to certain electrical switchgear due to the prompt response of the Company's employees, local firefighters and utility partners. The Facility returned to service ahead of schedule and has resumed consistently delivering power to the local grid.
