Item 8.01 Other Events

On February 29, 2024, Lexaria Bioscience Corp. (“Lexaria”) received a Study May Proceed letter from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration confirming the completion of its review of Lexaria’s Investigational New Drug application and the determination that Lexaria may proceed with conducting its phase 1b hypertension clinical trial HYPER-H23-1 entitled ‘A Phase 1b Randomized, Double-Blind, Placebo-Controlled Study of the Safety, Pharmacokinetics, and Pharmacodynamics of DehydraTECH-CBD in Subjects with Stage 1 or Stage 2 Hypertension.

Lexaria looks forward to commencing clinical trial HYPER-H23-1, subject to certain conditions including raising sufficient funding.
