Item8.01. Other Events.

On May 26, 2020, Adial Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (the “Company”) reached an understanding on terms to purchase COVID-19 IgG / IgM Rapid Test kits, which test for the antibodies indicating potential previous exposure and possible resistance to COVID-19. The Company intends to test participants in its landmark ONWARD™ pivotal Phase 3 clinical trial of the Company’s lead drug candidate, AD04, for the treatment of Alcohol Use Disorder (AUD) to improve safety and enhance trial retention rates.
