Emiko Higashi
Ms. Higashi has served as a director since May 2017. Ms. Higashi currently serves as the chair of our Corporate Governance/Nominating Committee and member of our Audit Committee and Corporate Development Committee. Ms. Higashi also serves on the boards of Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Ltd. (TSE/NYSE), where she serves as the chair of the Compensation Committee and member of the Nomination Committee, and has served on the Audit Supervisory Committee; Rapidus Corporation, a Japanese semiconductor foundry business focused on 2 nm and beyond manufacturing. Ms. Higashi is a member of the Industrial Structure Council, appointed in July 2025 by METI, Japan. She served on the boards of KLA Corporation (Nasdaq) until November 2025, One Equity Partners Open Water I Corp (Nasdaq) until December 2022, Sanken Electric (TSE) until June 2021, MetLife Insurance KK until September 2019, and InvenSense, Inc. (NYSE) until May 2017. Ms. Higashi is a founder of Tohmon Capital Partners, LLC (formerly Tomon Partners, LLC.) Prior to Tohmon Capital Partners, she was a co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Gilo Ventures, a technology- focused venture capital firm based in Silicon Valley and Tel Aviv, from 2000 to 2002.
