Hepsiburada Announces Planned CEO Transition Effective from July 1, 2026
ISTANBUL, December 29, 2025 -- D-MARKET Electronic Services & Trading (d/b/a “Hepsiburada”) (NASDAQ: HEPS), a leading Turkish e-commerce platform (referred to herein as “Hepsiburada” or the “Company”), today announced that the Company and its current Chief Executive Officer (“CEO”) Nilhan Gökçetekin have agreed to begin a planned leadership transition, expected to be completed by July 1, 2026.
Over the past several years, Hepsiburada has focused on strengthening financial discipline and reinforcing its core foundations. With this phase well established, the Company and the CEO agreed that the coming period is the appropriate time to proceed with a leadership transition, while maintaining continuity and execution momentum. The transition is intended to take place following a smooth and carefully managed handover of responsibilities.
Hepsiburada’s chairman, Mikheil Lomtadze, said: “I have worked closely with Nilhan and would like to thank her for her contribution to Hepsiburada. During her tenure, Hepsiburada strengthened financial discipline and reinforced its ability to execute its long-term strategy. This transition has been planned jointly, with a clear focus on continuity and execution. Importantly, we have decided that Hepsiburada’s next phase of leadership will be built by promoting leaders from within the Company.”
Nilhan said: “I am proud of what our team has built at Hepsiburada. The Company today remains in solid financial health, supported by a resilient business model. I will continue to work closely with the Company and the leadership team to ensure a smooth and responsible handover and to support the Company’s long-term success. Following the completion of the transition, I will move on to a new professional challenge.”
