Item 5.02     Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

On July 18, 2023, Bryan E. Roberts informed 10x Genomics, Inc. (the “Company”) of his decision to resign as a member of the Board of Directors (the “Board”) of the Company, the Audit Committee of the Board and the Compensation Committee of the Board, effective immediately. Kimberly J. Popovits replaced Dr. Roberts as a member of the Audit Committee effective July 19, 2023. Dr. Roberts’s decision to resign was due solely to professional time commitments and is not due to any disagreement with the Company’s management team, operations, financial statements, policies or procedures.
