Item 5.02. Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

On January 14, 2024, Juan Cento notified the Board of Directors (the “Board”) of Assurant, Inc. (the “Company”) of his retirement from the Board effective as of the date of the Company’s 2024 annual meeting of stockholders.

On January 18, 2024, the Board accepted Robert Stein’s resignation from the Board pursuant to the director retirement policy under the Company’s Corporate Governance Guidelines, effective as of the date of the Company’s 2024 annual meeting of stockholders.
