A2Z Smart Technologies Launches Next Generation V2.8 Light Smart Cart
Tel Aviv, Israel / January 17, 2023— A2Z Smart Technologies Corp. (NASDAQ: AZ) (TSXV: AZ), today announced that it has developed and launched a new Smart Cart model which will extend and complement the Company’s current offerings.
The new Version 2.8 has been developed after consultation with major retailers around the world, predominately in the European and Asian markets.
“Given our significant discussions with retailers around the world, it was pointed out that while our initial Smart Cart was perfect for the larger stores, a smaller version would be very suitable for some of the smaller sized stores. As most of the major retailers have stores of varying scale, we took their input on board and are delighted to launch the new V2.8 which is lighter and opens up a much bigger market for our smart cart offerings”, said Rafi Yam, Chief Executive Officer of Cust2Mate
The new V2.8 is a lighter model and comes in 180 litre and 75 litre sizes. This allows our product offering to now be used in stores of all sizes from hypermarket right down to convenience stores, and in a variety of retail fields from groceries and supermarkets to drugstores and duty free shops.
The new versions carry the same touch screens and all the security features as their big brother.
This brings the suite of smart carts on offer now to four, ranging from 270 litre down to 75 litre carts which make it the most comprehensive offering in the market.

Tel Aviv, Israel / ACCESSWIRE / January 20, 2023 — A2Z Smart Technologies Corp. (NASDAQ: AZ) (TSXV: AZ) (“A2Z” or the “Company”), today announced that its subsidiary Cust2mate Ltd (“Cust2Mate”), has partnered with Lenovo Group Limited.
Under the joint venture, the Company will use Lenovo solutions in its revolutionary Cust2mate Smart Cart solution and Lenovo will actively sell and promote the solution through its extensive worldwide channels.
Bundled with global, on-site support, Cust2mate can roll out its smart cart platform to supermarkets around the world, with future service needs covered by Lenovo’s global support.

A2Z Smart Technologies Announces Establishment of Smart Cart Maintenance and Support Division and first Services Agreement
Tel Aviv, Israel / January 24, 2023 — A2Z Smart Technologies Corp. (NASDAQ: AZ) (TSXV: AZ), today announced the establishment of a Smart Cart maintenance and support division.
The maintenance and support division will be established within the Company’s wholly owned ISO qualified subsidiary, A2Z MS, which already provides high level maintenance and support services to some of Israel’s largest governmental and private organizations. The division will provide all maintenance and support services required by its Cust2mate Smart Carts which have been, and will be, deployed in Israel by Yochananof and all future retailers.
In order to enable A2Z MS to concentrate on providing the services, the Company has decided to discontinue the development of military related or derived products.
The Company believes that providing these services internally will give the Company invaluable in-depth insights into the day to day practicalities of using the Smart Carts and assist the Company in developing new generations and features of the Smart Cart.
The Company has signed an agreement with Yochananof for the provision of maintenance and services for the 1,300 Smart Carts ordered by Yochananof for the first three years.
