ITEM 8.01. Other Events.

On October 25, 2023, Canadian Pacific Kansas City Limited (the “Corporation”) issued a press release announcing that the Corporation’s board of directors declared a quarterly dividend of $0.19 per share on the Corporation’s outstanding common shares. The dividend is payable on January 29, 2024 to holders of record at the close of business on December 29, 2023. A copy of this press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1.

Canadian Pacific Kansas City Limited declares dividend

Calgary – The Board of Directors of Canadian Pacific Kansas City Limited (TSX: CP) (NYSE: CP) (CPKC) today declared a quarterly dividend of $0.19 per share on the outstanding Common Shares.

The dividend is payable on Jan. 29, 2024, to holders of record at the close of business on Dec. 29, 2023, and is an “eligible” dividend for purposes of the Income Tax Act (Canada) and any similar provincial/territorial legislation.
