Item 8.01. Other Events.
On November 30, 2022, James M. Wright, Jr. was appointed as Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer of LE GP, LLC (the “General Partner”), the general partner of Energy Transfer LP (the “Partnership”), with such appointment to be effective December 12, 2022. Mr. Wright has served as the General Partner’s Executive Vice President – Legal and Chief Compliance Officer since October 2018. Since joining the Partnership in 2005, Mr. Wright has held various senior-level positions in the legal department including General Counsel of the general partner of Energy Transfer Partners, L.P. from December 2015 to October 2018, and Deputy General Counsel prior to that time.
Mr. Thomas P. Mason, the current Executive Vice President, General Counsel and President – LNG of the General Partner, will continue in his roles as Executive Vice President and President – LNG, and will continue to lead the Partnership’s alternative energy group.
