Dear Sirs,

We are writing in order to comply with section 2, Chapter I, Title XII of the CNV Rules (2013 revised version).

We hereby notify you that the main shareholder of LOMA NEGRA C.I.A.S.A. (the “Company”), InterCement Trading e Inversiones S.A., notified to the Board of Directors that it has granted a first priority pledge over all of its shares of the Company, which represent 51.0437% of the capital stock of the Company. The pledge was granted in favor of Planner Trustee DTVM Ltda. as security for the obligations assumed by its indirect shareholder, InterCement Participações S.A., and its subsidiary, InterCement Brasil S.A., regarding the issuance of simple debentures, not convertible into shares, in accordance with the public offering regulations of Brazil for a total amount of BRL 4.7 billion (equivalent to approximately 910 million US Dollars), with principal payments commencing in 2023 and final maturity in May 2027, and that will be used to refinance its financial debt.
