Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure

Medtronic today announced that it has submitted its Hugo™ soft-tissue robotic system for Conformité Européenne (CE) Mark approval and filed for an investigational device exemption (IDE) from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). In addition, Medtronic is partnering with several hospitals and healthcare systems located outside of the U.S. and CE Mark jurisdictions to install Hugo™ systems and deliver training. These hospitals and systems will participate in the company's clinical data registry and support regulatory submissions globally.
