Petrobras on the form of shareholder remuneration distributionpreviously approved

Rio de Janeiro, November 19, 2021 – Petróleo Brasileiro S.A – Petrobras, following up on the releases disclosed on 08/04/2021 and 10/28/2021, informs that it will carry out the distribution of the anticipation of the remuneration to shareholders relative to 2021 fiscal year, which was approved by the Board of Directors on 08/04/2021 and 10/28/2021 to be paid on December 15, 2021, as follows:

(i) Dividends: R$ 2.195126 net value per common and preferred outstanding share;

(ii) Interest on capital (IOC): R$ 1.055361 gross value per common and preferred outstanding share.

The record date is December 1, 2021 for Petrobras’ shareholders traded on B3 and December 3, 2021 is the record date for holders of American Depositary Receipts (ADRs) traded on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE). Petrobras shares will be traded ex-rights on B3 and ADRs on NYSE as of December 2, 2021.

The payment for Petrobras’ shareholders traded on B3 will be made on December 15, 2021 and for holders of ADRs as of December 22, 2021.

The values anticipated to the shareholders as dividends and/or IOC, adjusted by the Selic rate since the date of payment until the closing of the fiscal year, will be discounted from the minimum mandatory dividends, inclusive for purposes of payment of the minimum priority dividends of the preferred shares.

Income tax will be levied on the IOC values, in accordance with the legislation in force. Withholding income tax will not apply to shareholders who can legally prove their immune and exempt status.

Dividends and IOC not claimed within 3 (three) years, as of the payment start date (12/15/2021), will prescribe and revert in favor of the company (Law 6,404/76, art. 287, sub II, item a).

CREDIT INSTRUCTIONS

For Petrobras’ shareholders traded on B3, the payment will be made by Banco Bradesco S.A. (Bradesco), the depositary institution of the book entry shares issued by Petrobras. All shareholders whose registration is duly updated will have their rights automatically credited to their bank accounts on the payment date. For shareholders with shares under custody at B3, the payment will be made through their respective brokers.

For ADRs holders, payment will take place as of 12/22/2021 through the JP Morgan Chase Bank, Petrobras' ADRs depositary bank. Information and clarifications can be obtained on the website www.adr.com.
