Election of Interim Chief Energy Transition andSustainability Officer

**Rio de Janeiro, July 24, 2026 –**Petróleo Brasileiro S.A. – Petrobras informs that its Board of Directors today approved the election of William Vella Nozaki as Chief Energy Transition and Sustainability Officer (DTEN), on an interim basis, effective as of August 1^st^, 2026.

William Vella Nozaki has been serving as Petrobras’ head of Integrated Energy Transition Management, a position reporting to DTEN, since August 2024, and has been a member of Transpetro’s Board of Directors since December 2023.
