Item 5.02. Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
(b) Restaurant Brands International Inc. (“RBI”), was notified by Roberto Thompson Motta on April 16, 2021 that he had decided not to stand for re-election to the Board of Directors (the “Board”) of RBI for personal reasons. As a result, his service on the Board will terminate effective June 16, 2021, which is the date of the Annual Meeting of the Shareholders of RBI.
