Item 1.04 Mine Safety.

On March 19, 2025, Vulcan Construction Materials, LLC, a subsidiary of Vulcan Materials Company (the “Company”), received an imminent danger order issued by the Mine Safety and Health Administration (“MSHA”) under section 107(a) of the Federal Mine Safety and Health Act of 1977 at its Liberty Quarry in Liberty, South Carolina. The order and subsequent significant and substantial citation under section 104(a) were issued to remove two employees working in the scalping screen of a tower in the plant without fall protection or other means of protection. No injuries occurred, and the Company took corrective action with respect to the incident.
