Resignationof Independent Director

On September 7, 2020, Ms. Joanne Ng notified the Board of Directors (the “Board”) of Glory Star New Media Group Holdings Limited (the “Company”)(NASDAQ CM: GSMG) of her resignation from her position as the independent director of the Company to focus on other business obligations and does not involve any disagreements with the Company, effective September 8, 2020. Ms. Ng. was a member of the Audit Committee, Compensation Committee and the chair of the Nomination Committee. The Company thanks Ms. Ng for her services and contribution to the Company. The Company intends to promptly commence a search for an independent director candidate and add such director to the Board as soon as practicable.
