Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election

of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

After leading Ecolab Inc.’s (the “Company”) world-class supply chain functions for the past five years, on July 14, 2025, Machiel Duijser tendered his resignation as Executive Vice President and Chief Supply Chain Officer of the Company, in order to accept a senior executive position at another publicly traded company. Mr. Duijser will depart the Company on July 25, 2025. The Company has a succession plan and is appointing an internal successor. Mr. Duijser’s resignation is not due to any disagreement with the Company on any matter relating to the Company’s operations, policies or practices.
