Item 8.01 Other Events

On March 24, 2020, in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Prime Minister Narendra Modi of India announced a “complete” nationwide lockdown, effective at midnight local time and continuing for a period of at least 21 days. In response to Prime Minister Modi’s announcement and other recent orders of the Government of Karnataka, India, Kewaunee Scientific Corporation (“Kewaunee”) has temporarily suspended operations at its Bangalore, India manufacturing facility. It is unknown how long this lockdown will continue as the situation around COVID-19 continues to evolve. Kewaunee plans to file a Current Report on Form 8-K to notify the public once operations at its Bangalore, India manufacturing facility have resumed.
