LanguageLoop Implements NICE CXone to Transform its Customer Experience
Operations
LanguageLoop delivers frictionless mission-critical customer and employee experiences with NICE
CXone
Hoboken, N.J.– March 1, 2023 – NICE (Nasdaq: NICE) today announced that LanguageLoop has implemented NICE’s CXone cloud native platform to futureproof its
customer experience operation and deliver an enhanced customer and user experience.
LanguageLoop is Australia’s leading full-service language provider that delivers essential translation and interpreting services to customers across key industries, including finance, insurance,
health, education, energy, law, business, and government. Their contact center team fields more than 500,000 customer interactions annually and connects customers with almost 3,000 contracted interpreters.
LanguageLoop was experiencing significant limitations in handling the required call volume and needed to move to a flexible cloud-based solution with comprehensive interactive voice response (IVR)
services. LanguageLoop engaged NICE to transform the customer experience and unify its operations with CXone.
NICE CXone enables LanguageLoop to seamlessly automate its inbound interactions and quickly connect customers with available interpreters, providing an efficient solution for customers requiring
essential communication services where English is not their first language. With CXone, customers can call in and use their LanguageLoop identification number to connect with translation and interpretation services in over 190 languages. CXone also
seamlessly integrates with LanguageLoop’s booking system and supports its dedicated contact center staff in processing bookings for translating and interpreting services. With the benefit of CXone’s open application programming interface (API),
LanguageLoop can more efficiently productize its service and go to market quicker with a better-rounded product portfolio.
George Bisas, Chief Executive Officer, LanguageLoop, said, “NICE CXone is the ideal solution for LanguageLoop as it delivers a mature and intuitive cloud
native solution that can be fully automated to deliver a streamlined service to connect customers with contracted interpreters in mission and life-critical events. It brings together all the individual pieces of the LanguageLoop contact center into
a more connected solution that delivers greater efficiencies for the business. With the support of seamless IVR workflows, CXone empowers LanguageLoop to transcend language barriers and better support its customers in times of great need.”
CXone’s easy-to-use interface also allows LanguageLoop to make direct and rapid changes to its solution without needing additional technical support. The LanguageLoop team can make changes, test,
and deploy within short timeframes to ensure seamless experiences for its customers. CXone also provides essential monitoring and reporting services for LanguageLoop’s contact center agents, which helps to ensure greater quality control over its
interpreting and translating services.
Darren Rushworth, President, NICE International, said, “NICE is pleased to support LanguageLoop as they continue to deliver frictionless experiences that
transcend language barriers. LanguageLoop delivers mission-critical services to thousands of customers and CXone is now a vital piece of its supporting infrastructure.”

NICE Workforce Management Transforms Operations for Alteram Solutions
Alteram transitions from manual processes with NICE WFM to improve agent scheduling and call volume
forecasting
Hoboken, N.J., March 07, 2023 – NICE (Nasdaq: NICE) today announced that Alteram Solutions, a BPO information and
communication technology services provider in South Africa, has found great success utilizing NICE’s Workforce Management solutions with expert guidance to improve agent capacity, forecasting, and scheduling. By having the capability to better
prepare agents and with accurate staffing, Alteram was able to greatly improve operations and prepare for future growth.
Alteram previously relied on a heavily manual process for agent scheduling and call volume forecasting that was time-consuming, imprecise, and not scalable. Alteram reported that this led to low
occupancy of staff during peak times and a high abandonment rate from customers.
Alteram leveraged NICE’s unique Value Realization Services (VRS) to take global best practices and benchmarks in their implementation of NICE WFM and as a result has seen tremendous improvements.
Alteram reported that abandonment rates have decreased by 84%, occupancy has improved by 82%, and boasts a 74% increase in forecast accuracy. These successes have Alteram planning to expand its WFM suite to further improve business operations,
employee satisfaction and productivity, and the overall customer experience.
Musa Motautona, Head of Workforce Management, Alteram, said, “When we started this project, I believed we didn’t have time for change management, ‘soft and
fluffy,’ I called it. But VRS’ continuous reinforcement and focus on user enablement eliminated the resistance to change we’ve experienced before and sped adoption. It was a secret ingredient to our deployment success and became a point of pride
and celebration for us.”
Darren Rushworth, President, NICE International, said, “The successes shown at Alteram highlight the benefits of AI and forecast management. Data provided
the blueprint of where adjustments needed to be made, and WFM delivered. We are pleased to continue to support Alteram as they continue to grow and streamline their BPO practice.”
About Alteram Solutions
Alteram Solutions is a dynamic black-owned and managed ICT (Information and Communication Technology) services and solutions provider. They provide customers with custom-designed and integrated
technology services and also operate as a BPO. Alteram offers businesses the ability to improve customer service and align business processes through back-end system integration, contact center management, and other customer service initiatives.

Exhibit 99.4
NICE Actimize 2023 Fraud Insights Report Reveals Attempted Fraud Transactions
Have Increased By 92% Over Previous Year
The report also noted that Attempted Fraud amounts overtook Account Takeover Fraud amounts with a
45.9% year-over-year increase from 2021 to 2022
Hoboken, N.J., March 9, 2023 – NICE Actimize, a NICE (NASDAQ: NICE) business, has released "The 2023 NICE Actimize Fraud Insights Report" that delves deeply into the banking and payments landscape and uncovers the most pressing threats and patterns impacting
financial institutions. Leveraging NICE Actimize’s X-Sight AI, which utilizes collective intelligence and Federated Learning to spot emerging threats and suspicious patterns of activity, the report was created by analyzing billions of banking and
payments transactions representing over $110 trillion in value.
NICE Actimize’s in-depth research showed that the rise of banking fraud is a growing concern for Financial Institutions (FIs) and consumers alike. Fraudsters are becoming increasingly
sophisticated, shifting their tactics from traditional account takeover and unauthorized fraud to more complex authorized payments fraud (scams). This not only complicates the fraud threat landscape, but also puts FIs at risk of double loss
scenarios - both first-party and third-party victims.
The report indicated that from 2021 to 2022, attempted fraud transactions skyrocketed by 92% and attempted fraud amounts have soared by 146%. This alarming trend highlights two key points: first,
there is a dramatic increase in overall transaction volumes and second, fraudsters are becoming bolder and targeting higher fraud amounts. The report also stated that fraud is not limited to one specific channel; it’s a complex, multi-channel
threat that is shaped by digital transformation, changing consumer behaviors and shifting fraud patterns. The report also estimated that the absolute amount of Attempted Authorized Payments Fraud overtook Account Takeover Fraud amounts with a 45.9%
year-over-year increase from 2021 to 2022.
“Fraudsters are leveraging faster payments innovation to conduct sophisticated scams involving money mules who transfer funds away from the FI—funds that are often unrecoverable,” said Craig Costigan, CEO, NICE Actimize, “As the digital landscape evolves, so do fraudsters’ tactics. The threats identified in our report are a glaring reminder of the
ever-present risk that looms over digital channels and payments. Financial institutions must fortify their defenses, and review digital channel controls, to stay ahead of new and emerging threats.”
As the world moves towards a cashless society, the volume of transactions is increasing, and so too is the amount of fraud across all channels and typologies, including online, mobile, and
in-person transactions. NICE Actimize's research sheds light on this pressing issue and highlights the need for layering in cutting-edge technologies like Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to identify even the most
sophisticated fraud schemes.
The report also indicated the Money Mule-related fraud is a leading challenge facing financial institutions. Money Mules are a key element in authorized payments fraud and scams, new account fraud,
and in moving illicitly obtained funds. The report explains that while mules don’t generate direct loss at an FI, they do impact revenue because these accounts aren’t profitable, are costly to acquire and maintain, and expose FIs to regulatory
scrutiny and reputational damage.
The NICE Actimize Fraud Insights Report’s data showed that:
| • |
59% of new account fraud is mule related, and the majority of these accounts demonstrate mule characteristics within 30 days, indicating that fraud is being conducted almost instantly.
|
| • |
Money is typically moved in a mule network within two hours before its completely gone, exiting the account within 12 hours.
|
Using anonymized data, insights for this report were secured across online and offline payments channels, including P2P, ACH, wires, checks, and card transactions.

Using advanced AI, the solution employs a multi-model execution strategy that utilizes
a diverse set of models, techniques, and algorithms to identify and prevent fraud
Hoboken, N.J., March
14, 2023 – Traditional payments monitoring systems often do not detect money mules' movements as they secure illicit funds from financial institutions. To address this problem, NICE Actimize, a NICE business (Nasdaq: NICE), today announced its cloud-first Money Mule Defense Solution designed to
detect, investigate and prevent mule account activity occurring throughout the entire customer lifecycle for both existing customers and new accounts. This solution is designed to identify money mules that may either unwittingly be involved in
fraudulent transactions or are directly complicit in irregular money movements.
NICE Actimize's Money Mule Defense solution utilizes deep learning models and purpose-built expert features to detect mule
activities across multiple event types and channels in real-time. The solution identifies compromised accounts and payors by leveraging the power of NICE Actimize's market leading enterprise fraud management platform IFM-X. NICE Actimize also employs a multi-model execution strategy that utilizes a diverse set of models, techniques, and algorithms to identify and prevent fraud. This allows
organizations to quickly adjust their strategy to stay ahead of the most sophisticated fraud schemes.
“NICE Actimize’s innovative approach to identifying money mules encompasses the entirety of the customer payments lifecycle,
protecting both inbound and outbound payments,” said Craig Costigan, CEO, NICE Actimize. “This advanced method is designed to prevent
new mule accounts from being opened, and existing accounts from unwittingly becoming mules, thereby preserving customer relations, stopping mule transactions and reducing potential monetary loss.”
Utilizing the power of AI and NICE Actimize’s collective intelligence across the industry, the solution’s model for detecting money mules is continually optimized and enhanced to identify anomalous behaviors and suspicious transactions indicative of money mule
activities.

NICE Announces Enlighten Actions, Creating Humanized AI-driven CX Powered by
Generative AI
Enlighten Actions revolutionizes use of data and generative AI to pinpoint brand-specific actions to drive
business
growth
Hoboken, N.J., March 27, 2023 – NICE (Nasdaq: NICE) today
announced Enlighten Actions, which allows organizations to create smart and humanized CX through the integration of Enlighten AI and Generative AI. Enlighten Actions brings together Enlighten, NICE’s highly mature and differentiated purpose-built
AI for CX, and the generative models from Open AI. This groundbreaking innovation combines Enlighten’s highly specialized AI models for CX trained using billions of CX interactions with the broad, generative models used to build ChatGPT. As a
result, Enlighten Actions allows organizations to build AI- powered CX processes faster and easier than before by making Enlighten accessible with a human-like interface. Through this state-of-the-art interface, Enlighten Actions generates
actionable outputs that are clear, easy to understand, and brand specific. It fundamentally changes and improves how we interact with unstructured data and makes it more accessible and efficient for businesses to operationalize.
Enlighten Actions does all the backend work to gather and present responses in record time with unrivaled clarity and accuracy.
Enlighten Actions takes the learnings from Enlighten AI and, with Generative AI, composes human-like responses to any request. It is integrated across NICE’s portfolio of products, including CXone Expert, NICE’s knowledge management solution,
CXone’s Bot Builder, SmartAssist, as well as the new Enlighten AutoSummary.
According to a Gartner report, by 2025
70% of digital workplace service transactions will be supported or completed by automation, up from less than 30% today. Yet, according to a report from Deloitte,
67% of respondents to its survey have yet to incorporate AI into their knowledge management strategy beyond a limited extent. Enlighten Actions can show businesses the optimal areas to deploy automation. It can create the plan for businesses to be
able to respond to these new demands of the digital era.
“Enlighten Actions is a next-generation AI innovation,” said Barry Cooper, President, CX Division, NICE. “Enlighten Actions revolutionizes how businesses use data to help drive growth. Combining Enlighten AI and generative AI, NICE has broken down the
siloes to create an unparalleled knowledge base to deliver truly transformative actions for businesses.”
“Our research shows that enterprises are seeking solutions that make it quick and easy for them to employ Conversational AI for their
specific industries and use cases,” explains Dan Miller, Lead Analyst at Opus Research. "Enlighten Actions fills that need by making it
possible for both customers and agents to incorporate unstructured data into natural language queries and responses. The flexibility and adaptability of NICE’s approach make it a game changer.”
