Frictionless experiences that boost CSAT with new composable AI and self-service:

Weaving in a slew of new bot frameworks into its fabric, NICE CXone now enables bring-your-own self-service bots for digital chat and voice such as Microsoft Azure,
Amazon Lex and IBM Watson for easy low code/no-code integration. CXone also integrates with Google Agent Assist on voice and chat channels, driving relevant content and data to agents handling omnichannel interactions at the right time
within the unified agent. NICE also adds support for additional digital channels such as Apple Business Chat as well as 100+ languages for IVR and voice-enabled chatbots to help businesses serve global audiences. Together, these new
capabilities boost CSAT, drive up containment and reduce cost to serve.
|
| o |
CXone Bot Builder, which allows businesses to build their own bots with a simple drag and drop, is now enhanced with advanced learning insights that enable smarter
self-service. The ability to train bots personalizes engagements and improves recognition, such as synonyms, industry terms, formats and more. Public testing makes it easy to pilot bots with real users, thus boosting bot performance and

NICE Launches NTR-X Compliance Recording and Capture for Zoom
As firms accelerate their digital transformation, NICE and NTR-X provide compliance recording
coverage for all types of communications including audio, video, screen sharing and chat
Hoboken, N.J., March 3, 2022 – NICE (NASDAQ: NICE), a leading provider of financial
communication recording and compliance assurance solutions, today announced that its next generation NICE NTR-X solution is now available for compliance recording capture for communications done via Zoom, including Zoom Meetings and Zoom Phone, a
feature-rich cloud phone solution.
Participating as a select early adopter partner, NICE worked with Zoom to create and utilize new APIs for financial markets compliance
recording. NICE and Zoom also worked closely together to develop this compatibility to enable regulated customers to address capture and assurance requirements such as those outlined by the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act, the Markets in Financial Instruments (MiFID II) Directive, and other global regulations.
Chris Wooten, Executive Vice President,
NICE, stated, “In the current environment, as firms accelerate their digital transformation, we’re seeing the adoption of multiple forms of unified communications grow rapidly, particularly in heavily regulated environments like financial
services. Our solution for Zoom continues to reinforce the fact that firms can put their trust in NICE and NTR-X for compliance recording coverage for all types of communications, from audio and video, to screen sharing and chat.”
Offering a consolidated, centralized approach to managing recording estates and footprints, NICE’s NTR-X can be deployed globally while
still helping firms to adhere to local capture and storage requirements. Offering financial services firms, the benefit of a central vantage point into all global regulated users and communications, NICE’s NTR-X reduces regulatory risk, removes
maintenance hurdles and reduces costs by up to 65%.
NICE NTR-X’s built-in compliance assurance capabilities help firms reduce compliance risk and improve responsiveness to regulators by
automating the complete lifecycle management of data, and its open standards design gives firms the highest degree of flexibility for storing, securing and managing data. Open APIs also make data more accessible and enable integration with upstream
and downstream applications for real-time alerting and actionable intelligence. NTR-X automates recording checks and provisioning of users (moves, adds and changes); transcription; bulk call extraction; system management and administration;
compliance assurance reporting; tracking and managing legal holds; and the requirement to provide evidence of compliance to regulators.
NTR-X can be deployed as a cloud or on-premise solution, with both options offering a compelling total cost of ownership.
In addition to capture and recording for communications via Zoom, financial services firms currently rely on NICE NTR-X to capture
Microsoft Teams, IPC Unigy, Cisco, Cloud9 and other communications platforms.

NICE CXone Gets Top Honors for Contact Center Platforms in Metrigy Research
NICE’s end-to-end integrated contact center platform, CXone, delivers proven business success and is highly ranked by customers
Hoboken, N.J., March 9, 2022 – NICE (Nasdaq: NICE) today announced that it has been recognized as a MetriStar Top Provider in the
Contact Center Platform category from among 16 companies evaluated. Based on a ranking of sentiment scores and proven business success among NICE customers, the Metrigy report evaluates the value realized from various contact center solutions.
With both quantitative metrics and open-ended qualitative commentary, customers rated the NICE platform very highly in nearly every area. For a complimentary copy of the report, click here.
The Metrigy report gave NICE the highest overall score among the 16 contact center providers evaluated, with capabilities such as value of the product/service, security capabilities and integrations with other
applications as top performing areas. The report highlighted NICE’s comprehensive customer experience portfolio as being key to its top score in both the customer sentiment and business success areas of the report. Its global reach, excellence in
AI and Automation through Enlighten AI, ability to integrate with WFO and delivery of related benefits to agents and supervisors on coaching, scheduling and more were also highlighted in the report.
The evaluations driving NICE’s recognition as a top vendor were performed during Metrigy’s Customer Experience MetriCast 2022 study, which included surveys of 1,846 CX leaders from companies in 10 countries across
three regions (North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific). Participants provided feedback on both the measurable business impact and their subjective assessment of contact center platforms they have been using.
Business impact was assessed using data showing before-and-after changes in relevant metrics (revenue, costs, customer ratings, and agent efficiency). Customer sentiment was based on participant ratings of the
platform for its value (“bang for the buck”), features, reliability, integration, analytics and AI capabilities, support, and security. These results provided insights for ranking the correlation between the use of the contact center platforms
and measurable business success.
Robin Gareiss, CEO & Principal Analyst, Metrigy, commented, “Contact center platforms are the communications core of all customer engagement
technologies. They might include routing of calls to appropriate customer service agents, self-service options, omnichannel interaction capabilities, and the like. Increasingly, providers like NICE that embrace emerging technology are adding
artificial-intelligence-based apps, such as conversational AI, personalized analytics and adaptive workforce optimization. In a crowded field, NICE stands out for bringing its customers both consistent business success and satisfaction. We are
pleased to honor NICE’s achievement by naming them a MetriStar Top Provider.”
Paul Jarman, CEO, NICE CXone, commented, “Eliminating friction in CX today demands an end-to-end contact center platform that’s powered by AI and combines digital entry
points, journey orchestration, smart self-service, prepared agents and performance optimization tools. We are very pleased to see the Metrigy research provide independent recognition of the value our customers gain from our commitment to creating
effortless, consistent and personalized contact center interactions.”

NICE Named 2022 Company of the Year in the North American Contact Center
Industry by Frost & Sullivan
NICE recognized for innovations that accelerate digital transformation and drive CX personalization
Hoboken, N.J., March 10, 2022 – NICE (Nasdaq: NICE) today announced it has been recognized by Frost & Sullivan
with the 2022 Best Practices Company of the Year Award in the North American Contact Center industry. A top honor, the Frost & Sullivan Company of the Year Award recognizes companies at the forefront of innovation and growth based on a
visionary understanding of the future. NICE was praised for its regular cadence of development and innovation around major industry trends, such as digital transformation, personalization, omnichannel service delivery, employee and customer
engagement and the infusion of intelligence across the customer journey.
According to Frost & Sullivan, a fundamental reason that NICE is a leader in the market is its continuous innovation, which consistently pushes the envelope on key trends in the industry.
As part of its mission to create extraordinary customer experiences from the digital doorstep across the entire customer journey, NICE recently introduced Customer Experience Interactions (CXi).
CXi embodies all the components of the NICE CXone platform into an intelligent framework for customer interactions, fundamentally changing the way organizations engage and interact with customers. It enables connected, smart, hyper-personalized
customer engagements, using a combination of contact center as a service, workforce optimization, analytics, artificial intelligence (AI), and digital self-service all seamlessly integrated into CXone.
“The seismic shifts in technology innovation and adoption result in the constant creation of new consumer expectations,” said Barak Eilam, NICE CEO. “As
those expectations have risen, easy, quick, clear and intuitive experiences have become a given for customers, requiring businesses to differentiate beyond the boundaries of the contact center. We are honored to be recognized by Frost &
Sullivan for innovating at the forefront of customer experience trends, adding new functionality to customer care before others in the market.”
Frost & Sullivan released an award write up alongside the 2022 Company of the Year Award, recognizing NICE as excelling across criteria in the contact center space, such as addressing unmet
needs, providing visionary scenarios through mega trends, leadership focus, and brand equity. The write up details how the reputation of the contact center has dramatically shifted, increasing its importance and expanding its role within
organizations.
According to the Frost & Sullivan write up, “To be a winner in this increasingly complex industry means providing an extensive array of integrated solutions on a modern platform that takes
advantage of the cloud and AI technologies. NICE, a leader in the contact center industry, has long been navigating the waters of technological change.”
Nancy Jamison, Frost & Sullivan Industry Director, said “Driven by the winds of consumer preference, sentiment and expectation, NICE has continuously
innovated to accommodate a rapidly changing consumer base.”
Each year, Frost & Sullivan presents a Company of the Year award to the organization that demonstrates excellence in growth strategy and implementation in its field. The award recognizes a high
degree of innovation with products and technologies and the resulting leadership in terms of customer value and market penetration. Industry analysts compare market participants and measure performance through in-depth interviews, analyses, and
extensive secondary research to identify best practices in the industry.

NICE Inform Elite Helps San Diego Police Department Improve 911 Call Handling
and Automate Evidence Requests
The San Diego communications center is perfecting its 911 service, optimizing dispatch resources and
eliminating evidence request overtime and backlogs with NICE Inform Elite
Hoboken, N.J., March 15, 2022 – NICE (Nasdaq: NICE) today announced that the San Diego Police Department’s Communications Division has implemented NICE Inform Elite to automate performance metrics tracking, quality assurance reviews and incident reconstruction. As a result of digitally
transforming how data is managed, the agency is improving services to citizens and partner agencies, while optimizing dispatch resources, and eliminating evidence request overtime and backlogs.
The San Diego Police Department’s Communications Division is the
public safety answering point for all police, fire, and emergency medical services (EMS) calls for San Diego, the eighth-largest city in the U.S. In 2021, the center
handled nearly 1.4 million calls for service, including approximately 621,000 emergency calls and 911 texts.
Roxanne Cahill, Police Dispatch Administrator
for the San Diego Police Department Communications Center stated, “Essentially, our division is the nerve center of the San Diego Police Department. We are the first contact citizens have when requesting help. Additionally, since we capture every communication, we also perform the vital work of fulfilling 911 evidence requests
for investigations and court. NICE is helping us provide better service to everyone we support – from citizens to justice partners. Using NICE Inform Elite, we’ve stepped up our 911 quality assurance and performance metrics tracking to
provide better service to callers while speeding the delivery of 911 audio reproductions and eliminating related overtime and backlogs.”
Chris Wooten, Executive Vice President, NICE, commented,
“We appreciate the trust the City of San Diego Police Department Communication Division has placed in NICE to assist them in their progressive efforts in all of these areas. From aiding callers in their worst moments to supporting partner agencies in
investigations and prosecutions, the mission-critical work of 911 relies on data. Our automated solutions seamlessly connect data across different systems and eliminate manual processes, so public safety agencies can leverage data to the fullest and
get to the truth faster.”
Specifically, the San Diego Police Department’s Communications
Division is utilizing NICE Inform Elite to supplement live monitoring of calls with automated Quality Assurance (QA), to get more reviews done in less time. Supervisors can also use automated QA to target specific calls for review (for example high
priority calls that present significant risk of injury or death or calls which took excessively long to enter or dispatch).
“Quality assurance is essential for effective dispatcher
coaching, training and mentoring,” added Cahill. “NICE Inform Elite helps us identify small problems before they become big issues, and answer questions around not just what happened, but why things happened as they did. It ensures we're performing
our duties as efficiently as possible, without sacrificing customer service.”
As a single system of record for 911 center data, NICE Inform Elite also features intelligent dashboards with dozens of real-time metrics
that provide instant visibility into what's performing and what isn’t. San Diego Police Department Communications Division supervisors now have a real-time view of the volumes and types of calls being handled, and the speed at which calls are being
answered, and can immediately see how individual dispatchers are performing.
Using dashboard metrics, the center can also make on-the-spot staffing adjustments as needed. “If it’s taking too long to answer calls, our
supervisors and available radio dispatchers will help with taking calls,” explained Cahill. “If we need to adjust the ratio of dispatchers answering 911 versus non-emergency calls, we'll do that as well.”
Additionally, the San Diego Police Department’s
Communications Division receives thousands of requests for audio evidence from city attorneys, district attorneys, and Child Welfare Services annually. NICE Inform Elite automates this process as well. Whereas previously it could take up to
four hours to reproduce audio evidence for homicide investigations, it now takes an hour or less. Backlogs and overtime have also been eliminated.

NICE Workforce Optimization Recognized for Delivering Proven Business Success
by Metrigy Research
NICE’s comprehensive WFO platform is highly ranked by customers from 14 companies evaluated
Hoboken, N.J., March 23, 2022 – NICE (Nasdaq: NICE) today announced that it has been recognized by Metrigy as a MetriStar Top Provider in the Workforce Optimization Platform category. Based on a ranking of customer sentiment scores and proven business success, the Metrigy report
assesses the overall value realized from various workforce optimization solutions. NICE customers reported measurable improvements in revenue, agent efficiency, cost reduction and customer satisfaction, and ranked the NICE WFO platform notably high
for reliability, analytics and its positive impact on corporate CX initiatives. For a complimentary copy of the report, please click here.
Robin Gareiss, CEO & Principal
Analyst, Metrigy, noted, “CX leaders clearly see NICE as a reliable platform, augmented with sophisticated analytics that help overall CX initiatives. Its comprehensive workforce optimization suite helps anticipate business demands,
automate scheduling and optimize workforces using a robust, AI-enabled analytics engine. Today, WFO capabilities are key to a burgeoning area of focus among CX leaders - agent experience. Happy agents equate to happy customers, so by using
technologies that improve agent experience and performance, a whole chain reaction occurs. Agent turnover drops so operational costs decrease. Coaching and longevity improve agent performance, enabling them to better and more efficiently serve
customers. That results in better ratings and referrals, which in turn, drives more revenue and new customers.”
Barry Cooper, President, NICE Workforce
and Customer Experience Group, said, “Ensuring that agents are empowered, prepared and engaged is the key to addressing the emerging needs of today’s digital consumers. The gold standard for WFO in today’s digital age is its ability to
empower agents, allowing them to create personal and fluent experiences while ensuring businesses have optimal staff at the right time with the right skills. As the Metrigy research confirms, our customers appreciate the practical impact of this
approach on employees and the bottom line.”
NICE performed better than any other provider in this year’s Metrigy rankings, receiving six MetriStar Top Provider awards. In the
Workforce Optimization Platform category, the Metrigy report highlighted NICE’s comprehensive set of WFO applications, including for performance and quality management, automated agent coaching, interaction recording, analytics, scheduling and
capacity planning. These tools optimize operational efficiency and empower supervisors to prevent small problems from becoming large ones.
According to the Metrigy report, business impact was evaluated using data showing before-and-after changes in relevant metrics. Customers
reported revenue increases, cost savings, improvements in customer experience ratings, and greater agent efficiency after implementation of NICE WFO solutions. The report’s sentiment rankings were based on open-ended qualitative commentary and
participant ratings, with customers particularly noting the NICE WFO platform’s reliability, ability to assist with CX initiatives and analytics capabilities.
The evaluations driving NICE’s recognition as a top vendor were performed during Metrigy’s Customer Experience MetriCast 2022 study,
which included surveys of 1,846 CX leaders from companies in 10 countries across three regions (North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific). Participants provided feedback on both the measurable business impact and their subjective assessment of the WFO
platforms they have been using, providing insights for ranking the correlation between the WFO platforms and measurable business success.

NICE Actimize Named Category Winner for Suitability in Inaugural 2022 WealthTech
Americas Awards
Focusing on behavioral intelligence, NICE Actimize’s Sales Practices & Suitability
solution helps align investment recommendations to a customer’s suitability profiles
Hoboken, N.J, March 28, 2022 – NICE Actimize, a NICE (NASDAQ: NICE) business, was named the winner in the “Suitability” category by WealthTech Americas Awards 2022 for its SURVEIL-X Holistic Conduct Surveillance
solution. Sponsored by WealthBriefing, a publication of Clearview Financial Media and a leading global provider of business intelligence in the private banking and
wealth management space, the inaugural awards program rewards achievement, top-class performance, and innovation.
As judged by an expert panel drawn from the wealth management industry and members of the WealthBriefing editorial team, NICE Actimize
emerged as the 2022 Suitability Winner in supporting wealth advisors and asset managers through the successful implementation of its holistic surveillance solutions offerings. According to WealthTech Americas judges, “In a comprehensive submission,
NICE Actimize showed how it prioritized its investment in the Wealth Management and Suitability area, applying cloud, artificial intelligence and advanced analytics to solving critical needs. This was the stand-out submission in this category.”
“NICE Actimize is focused on the 'know your employee' and
behavioral aspects of suitability, which brings both short-term and long-term benefits to advisors and management,” said Chris Wooten, EVP,
NICE. “Firms can use our solutions to meet regulatory obligations while managing client abuse risk on a more holistic level to encourage improved customer
relationships, all while building a robust suitability compliance program.”
“This year’s inaugural WealthTech Americas awards was a highly competitive launch addressing the most important wealth management
concerns throughout the Americas,” said ClearView Financial Media’s CEO, and Publisher of WealthBriefing, Stephen Harris. “These awards
recognize the strongest technology leaders in wealth management, with ‘independence’, ‘integrity’ and ‘genuine insight’ the watchwords of the judging process - the awards truly reflect excellence- and innovation in wealth management.”
FINRA’s Regulation Best Interest and Rule 2111 have significantly impacted the wealth management, retail trading, and insurance
communities and increased demand for better supervision and surveillance emerged. As a result, wealth management firms sought ways to manage their advisors, serve their
clients, and address regulatory requirements. The primary technology trend that emerged was a focus on "behavioral intelligence” which provides regulated firms with important insights into their employees’ behavior and helps firms be more
proactive in detecting misconduct.
Using behavioral intelligence, NICE Actimize’s SURVEIL-X Suitability solution is more than just a client abuse detection tool.
Serving wealth management and insurance customers, NICE Actimize’s Holistic Conduct Surveillance solution provides behavioral intelligence to the firm which can be used in determining both business strategies and in improving communications and
relationships between internal advisors and their clients.
NICE Actimize’s SURVEIL-X Suitability solution has seen strong adoption over the past year both at mid-sized institutions and
large-scale financial services organizations. The ease of deployment, enhanced by cloud technology and lowered costs, has made these technologies critical for wealth management teams.
NICE Actimize SURVEIL-X Suitability solution is part of the SURVEIL-X Holistic Conduct Surveillance platform and provides
coverage for a broad range of sales practices issues, helping firms meet current global regulatory requirements and helping advisors align investment recommendations with client’s investment objectives and suitability profiles.
Previously, NICE Actimize won the 2021 WealthTech Asia for Suitability award, and the 2020 “Best Compliance” technology solutions provider award by WealthBriefing Europe, WealthTech Asia’s sister
publication.
