On November 10, 2021, National Bankshares, Inc. issued a press release announcing payment of a semi-annual cash dividend of $0.74 per share on December 1, 2021 to stockholders of record as of November 22, 2021.

NATIONAL BANKSHARES, INC. DECLARES SEMI-ANNUAL DIVIDEND

BLACKSBURG, VA, NOVEMBER 10, 2021:  The Board of Directors of National Bankshares, Inc. (NASDAQ Capital Market: NKSH) today approved payment on December 1, 2021 of a semi-annual dividend of $0.74 per share to all stockholders of record as of November 22, 2021. This semi-annual dividend payment is an increase of $0.04 per share, or 5.7%, from the semi-annual dividend paid June 1, 2021. The total annual dividend of $1.44 per share for 2021 is an increase of $0.05 per share, or 3.6% from the total annual dividend of $1.39 for 2020.

President and Chief Executive Officer F. Brad Denardo commented, “This increased dividend payment represents National Bankshares’ continued profitability and commitment to shareholder value. We are thankful for the opportunity to share our success with our shareholders, and we appreciate their ongoing support.”
