Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure

On December 10, 2020, Management of Mechanical Technology, Incorporated (the “Company”) participated in a conversation with a shareholder. The conversation included business topics as such: MTI Instruments, Inc.’s timing of the United States Air Force deliveries for the portal balance system units in the fourth quarter of 2020 and their business in the semiconductor industry and the pickup in interest in the industry.
