good morning thank you for taking my question it really has to do with capex spending this year um with your updated guidance when you did q1 you sort of had 26 million but i think the feasibility starts with talks about 80 for this year but then when we talk about the uh the text talks about only doing uh 24 million year to date for sustaining i'm just trying to figure out where we are in the capex spend this year and how much we expect in the back half of this year and maybe even by quarter by quarter i mean i'm sort of looking at you know there's probably another 45 to 50 to go in the back half of the year but that's what i'm trying to reconcile
between the financial statements yeah thanks brian uh i i think a lot of the the the capex spend that you're referring to in the back half of this year a lot of it is going to be guided towards the heat bleach pad expansion that we really need to get going on this year, right? So that's a big part of the cost coming up, stripping, obviously, to prepare us for production next year in 2027 when the production profile ramps up. But again, I'm going to pass things back to Cliff in terms of maybe taking, walking through our cap expenditure plans for the balance of the year and where they're focused.
It's a fair question. We are planning to achieve the spend that we committed to. It's not going to be an easy feat, but we are planning to definitely achieve the stripping that we have planned, which is a big portion of that capex. We're on track with the phase three sea heat expansion, which we pulled from 2027 to 2026, which took a lot of effort from our capital planning team, our project team at site, which had other, I'd say smaller, but also important projects for improvement. Those are now going to start to pick up in the latter half of the year, now that we've got Phase 3C underway. So you'll start to see the CapEx pick up here to the end of the year.
Okay, that's just what I was trying to check, right? could we add the extra sustaining of those or non-sustaining about nine to ten we're bringing forward but we're probably be timed on the original runway so i'm right in assuming that the back half assuming you hit your parties it's going to be quite a bit heavier that's correct great thank you very much that's very helpful thanks brian and there are no further questions at this time i will now turn the call back over to george salemis for closing remarks Thank you very much.
I've got no further closing remarks. Those are great questions, by the way. We really like it when our audience engages with us. I've got nothing else to say. Thank you all for attending the call today. Operator, I'll turn it back to you.
This concludes today's conference call. Thank you for your participation. You may now disconnect.
