Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure.

On April 29, 2021, the jury returned a verdict in favor of Dril-Quip, Inc. (the “Company”) in FMC Technologies, Inc.’s (“FMC”) lawsuit alleging misappropriation of trade secrets in the 127th District Court of Harris County in an action styled FMC Technologies, Inc. v. Richard Murphy and Dril-Quip, Inc., Cause No. 2020-63081. The lawsuit was most recently described in the Company’s Quarterly Report on Form 10-Q for the quarter ended March 31, 2021 and the Current Report on Form 8-K filed on October 8, 2020. If FMC appeals, the Company intends to continue its vigorous defense of this matter.
