On September 28, 2022, Innovative Eyewear, Inc. (the “Company”) entered into a multi-year global licensing agreement with Nautica Apparel, Inc. (the “License Agreement”) for the Company’s smart eyewear products, which became effective July 1, 2022. Pursuant to the License Agreement, the Company received a license to utilize the global lifestyle brand Nautica® for its smart eyewear products.
The Company issued a press release announcing the entrance into the License Agreement, which has been filed as Exhibit 99.1, to this Current Report on Form 8-K.

October 3, 2022 — Innovative Eyewear, Inc. (“Innovative Eyewear” or the “Company”) (NASDAQ: LUCY; LUCYW), a developer and retailer of cutting-edge smart eyewear and operator of the Lucyd^®^ brand, is pleased to announce that it has licensed the global lifestyle brand Nautica^®^ for smart eyewear.
