Item 8.01 Other Events.

Mr. Michael Hooks, Executive Chairman of Malibu Boats, Inc. (the “Company”), and Mr. Bruce Beckman, Chief Financial Officer of the Company, will be attending the B. Riley 24th Annual Institutional Investor Conference on May 22, 2024. At the conference, Mr. Hooks and Mr. Beckman will be giving an update on the Company’s efforts to engage new dealers in each of the markets previously served by Tommy’s Boats. As of May 17, 2024, the Company has entered into dealer agreements with dealers in 14 of the 15 markets previously served by Tommy’s Boats.
