Item 8.01 Other Events.
On August 13, 2026, RLI Corp. (“RLI”) announced that its Board of Directors approved a regular quarterly dividend on its common stock of $0.18 per share. The dividend is payable on September 15, 2026 to shareholders of record as of August 31, 2026.

RLI DECLARES REGULAR DIVIDEND
PEORIA, ILLINOIS, August 13, 2026 -- RLI Corp. (NYSE: RLI) – RLI Corp. announced today its Board of Directors has declared a third quarter regular cash dividend of $0.18 per share, unchanged from the prior quarter. The dividend is payable on September 15, 2026, to shareholders of record as of August 31, 2026.
RLI has increased dividends in each of the last 51 years. The company’s dividend yield would be 1.14% based on the $0.72 indicated annual dividend and yesterday’s closing stock price of $62.93.
