(TSX: BTO, NYSE AMERICAN: BTG, NSX: B2G) (“B2Gold” or the “Company”) is pleased to provide an operational update for the Goose Mine and announce positive results from its ongoing Back River Gold District exploration drilling program in Nunavut, Canada. All dollar figures are in United States dollars unless otherwise indicated. Goose Mine Operations Highlights New mobile crushing plant commissioned in August 2026. Mobile crushing exceeded an average of 3,000 tonnes per day (“tpd“) of ore from mid-August, in-line with plan. Fixed plant crushing throughput is expected to reach a sustained average of 3,200 tpd beginning in October 2026 following completion of planned work on the fixed crushing plant, including Phase 1 upgrades and repairs related to the fire damage. Goose Mine is on track to achieve annual production guidance of 170,000 to 200,000 ounces of gold in 2026. Goose Mine Exploration Highlights Infill drill results at Llama confirm interpretation of high-grade mineralization and increase confidence in the current Inferred Mineral Resources below the open pit. Highlight intersections include (core length): Drill hole 26GSE749Z2 returned 19.12 grams per tonne (“g/t”) gold over 21.23 meters (“m”) from 463.85 m; Drill hole 26GSE749 returned 44.61 g/t gold over 4.65 m from 473.50 m; Drill hole 26GSE746Z2 returned 21.72 g/t gold over 10.60 m from 399.05 m; Drill hole 26GSE748Z1B returned 44.03 g/t gold over 3.53 m from 354.40 m; and Drill hole 26GSE747Z2B returned 10.59 g/t gold over 4.95 m from 357.05 m. B2Gold Granted Fekola Regional Exploitation Permit by the State of Mali
VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Aug. 07, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- B2Gold Corp. (TSX: BTO, NYSE AMERICAN: BTG, NSX: B2G) (“B2Gold” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce that the State of Mali has granted the Menankoto exploitation permit to B2Gold’s Malian subsidiary (the “Menankoto Exploitation Permit”). The Menankoto Exploitation Permit together with the Dandoko exploration permit make up Fekola Regional, which is a key near-term production growth driver for B2Gold. The issuance of the Menankoto Exploitation Permit follows productive dialogue between B2Gold and the State of Mali that commenced in late July 2025 and has continued until present. The discussions culminated in the receipt of both the approval to commence underground mining operations at the Fekola Mine in July 2025, and now the issuance of the Menankoto Exploitation Permit on August 7, 2026. B2Gold and the State of Mali remain committed to the agreement entered into in September 2024 related to the ongoing operation and governance of the Fekola Mine and Fekola Regional (together the “Fekola Complex”). Pursuant to the terms of the agreement, the Menankoto Exploitation Permit was issued under the 2023 Mining Code, while the Fekola Mine remains subject to the 2012 Mining Code. The Fekola Complex is comprised of the Fekola Mine (Medinandi permit hosting the Fekola and Cardinal open pits and Fekola underground), owned 80% by B2Gold and 20% by the State of Mali, and Fekola Regional (Menankoto Exploitation Permit and Dandoko permit), which will be owned 65% by B2Gold and 35% by the State of Mali. Fekola Regional is located approximately 20 kilometers from the Fekola Mine. Mike Cinnamond, President and CEO of B2Gold, commented “The issuance of the Menankoto Exploitation Permit is a significant milestone for both B2Gold and the State of Mali. The Fekola Complex is currently the largest producing gold mine in Mali and issuance of the Menankoto Exploitation Permit secures the future of the operation well into the late 2030’s. B2Gold is committed to working in a transparent manner to ensure the continuation of the positive and mutually beneficial partnership between the Company and the State of Mali, for the benefit of the Malian people and all stakeholders. The Company's total investment in Mali since 2014 has reached over $2.0 billion, and B2Gold is a significant employer with more than 3,300 workers of which approximately 98% are Malian nationals. Through its investments, B2Gold has provided major economic benefits including job creation, training, capacity building and community investments, and looks forward to continuing to build on these benefits for many years to come.” With issuance of the Menankoto Exploitation Permit, mining pre-stripping activities and finalization of a tolling agreement will commence. Fekola Regional is expected to ramp up operations through the end of 2027, and produce in excess of 150,000 ounces per year from 2028 through the mid-2030’s. The Fekola Complex is an important component of B2Gold’s operating portfolio, with a robust annual production base and life of mine that extends well into the 2030’s. The Company will continue to identify opportunities to maximize the value of the Fekola Complex for the benefit of B2Gold shareholders, the State of Mali, and all stakeholders. About B2Gold Corp. B2Gold is a responsible international gold producer headquartered in Vancouver, Canada. Founded in 2007, today, B2Gold has operating gold mines in Canada, Mali, Namibia and the Philippines, and numerous development and exploration projects in various countries. B2Gold Reports Q2 2026 Results; Strong Operating Performance at the Fekola, Masbate, and Otjikoto Mines led to Higher than Expected Gold Production and Lower than Expected All-In Sustaining Costs; Menankoto Exploitation Permit Expected to be Issued in the Near-Term by the State of Mali
VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Aug. 06, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- B2Gold Corp. (TSX: BTO, NYSE AMERICAN: BTG, NSX: B2G) (“B2Gold” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce its operational and financial results for the second quarter of 2026. All dollar figures are in United States dollars unless otherwise indicated. 2026 Second Quarter Highlights Gold production of 203,648 ounces : Consolidated gold production in the second quarter of 2026 was 203,648 ounces, in line with expectations. Gold production at Fekola, Masbate and Otjikoto was higher than anticipated, offset by lower than anticipated gold production at Goose as a result of a previously reported fire in certain areas of the crushing circuit in April 2026. Consolidated cash operating costs of $1,201 per gold ounce produced : Consolidated cash operating costs (see “ Non-IFRS Measures ”) were $1,201 per gold ounce produced ($1,127 per gold ounce sold) during the second quarter of 2026. Cash operating costs per ounce produced for the second quarter of 2026 were lower than anticipated mainly as a result of lower than expected processing costs at Masbate, with Fekola, Otjikoto and Goose relatively in-line with expectations. Consolidated all-in sustaining costs of $2,356 per gold ounce sold : Consolidated all-in sustaining costs (see “ Non-IFRS Measures ”) were $2,356 per gold ounce sold during the second quarter of 2026. Consolidated all-in sustaining costs for the second quarter of 2026 were lower than anticipated as a result of lower than expected production costs, and lower than expected sustaining capital expenditures. Attributable net income of $0.31 per share; adjusted attributable net income of $0.03 per share : Net income attributable to the shareholders of the Company of $417 million, or $0.31 per share; adjusted net income (see “ Non-IFRS Measures ”) attributable to the shareholders of the Company of $41 million, or $0.03 per share. Adjusted net income in the second quarter of 2026 excluded a gain on sale of mining interests of $292 million and unrealized gains on derivative instruments of $135 million, amongst other items. Included in adjusted net income for the second quarter of 2026 is $71 million of realized losses on the Company's gold collars. Final settlement of the gold collar contracts will be completed in January 2027. Operating cash flow before working capital adjustments of $94 million and free cash outflow of $258 million : Cash flow provided by operating activities before working capital adjustments of $94 million, and free cash outflow (see “ Non-IFRS Measures ”) of $258 million in the second quarter of 2026. Free cash outflow during the second quarter was mainly the result of higher cash tax payments (including a higher priority dividend paid to the State of Mali), the impact of the prepaid gold sales (the “Gold Prepay”), and higher production costs, which more than offset higher gold revenues. Free cash flow for the second quarter of 2026 does not include the $325 million of cash proceeds on sale of the Finland properties. Repurchased $92 million of shares under the Company's renewed normal course issuer bid: On April 1, 2026, the Toronto Stock Exchange accepted the notice of B2Gold's intention to renew its normal course issuer bid (“NCIB”). The renewed NCIB commenced on April 3, 2026 and will expire no later than April 2, 2027. Under the NCIB, the Company may purchase up to 132,662,594 common shares, representing 10% of the public float as of March 20, 2026. During the second quarter of 2026, the Company repurchased a total of 19 million shares for $92 million. Menankoto Exploitation Permit Status: During the week of July 27, 2026, B2Gold senior executives completed productive meetings with key government officials of the State of Mali, who have confirmed all the required steps to finalize approval of the Menankoto exploitation permit (the “Menankoto Exploitation Permit”) have been completed. B2Gold Reports Update on Fire-Related Incident to the Crushing Circuit at the Goose Mine
VANCOUVER, British Columbia, April 19, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- B2Gold Corp. (TSX: BTO, NYSE AMERICAN: BTG, NSX: B2G) (“B2Gold” or the “Company”) announced today an update on the near-term operational plan related to the fire that occurred in certain areas of the crushing circuit at the Goose Mine in the evening of April 16, 2026, as described in B2Gold’s news release on April 17, 2026. The Company reconfirms that no injuries were reported and no medical treatment was required related to the fire. The Company can also confirm its initial assessment that the fire damage was localized to the crushing circuit area. There was no damage or impact to the mill or power facility. The Goose Mine currently has mobile crushers available at site and the preliminary operational plan is to utilize these mobile crushers to feed crushed ore directly to the fine ore stockpile. Additional temporary crushing capacity has been sourced and will be transported to site in the second quarter of 2026 to supplement the existing mobile crushers currently at the Goose Mine. A preliminary revised mill processing plan has been developed for the second quarter of 2026 based on the use of mobile crushers feeding crushed ore directly to the fine ore stockpile while repairs to the crushing circuit related to the fire are completed. The Company estimates that these repairs will be completed in the third quarter of 2026, and will coincide with the previously announced addition of a run-of-mine bin and apron feeder which were scheduled to be implemented in the third quarter of 2026. B2Gold reiterates its previously disclosed estimate that the Goose Mine crushing circuit will be able to operate at an average daily capacity of approximately 3,200 tonnes per day by the end of the third quarter of 2026. B2Gold’s preliminary estimate of the cost of the repairs to the crushing circuit related to the fire is approximately C$10 million. Gold production is expected to continue over the near-term, albeit at a reduced level than previously anticipated in the second quarter of 2026 due to lower throughput rates of crushed ore. In the first quarter of 2026 the Goose Mine produced 42,876 ounces of gold, ahead of internal estimates. The previous internal forecast for gold production at the Goose Mine in the second quarter of 2026 was approximately 29,000 ounces. Due to the impact to the crushing circuit related to the fire, the Company now forecasts gold production in the second quarter of 2026 of 18,000 to 20,000 ounces, a reduction of approximately 10,000 ounces. B2Gold reiterates its full year gold production guidance for the Goose Mine of 170,000 to 230,000 ounces in 2026. The Company estimates that the impact of lower availability of crushed ore as a result of the fire will be limited to the second quarter of 2026, and that availability of crushed ore in the second half of 2026 will not change from previous estimates. The Company’s decision to renew the NCIB is consistent with its shareholder return strategy, and reflective of the Company's belief that the market may undervalue the common shares of B2Gold (the “ Shares ”) from time to time and that the Shares may trade in a price range which may not adequately reflect the value of the Shares in relation to the business, assets, and prospects of B2Gold from time to time and that purchases of Shares pursuant to the NCIB may represent an appropriate and desirable use of the Company’s capital. The Company had 1,337,359,749 Shares issued and outstanding as of March 20, 2026. In accordance with TSX rules, any daily purchases (other than pursuant to a block purchase exemption) on the TSX under the renewed NCIB are limited to a maximum of 1,763,653 Shares, which represents 25% of the average daily trading volume of 7,054,612 Shares on the TSX for the six months ended February 28, 2026 (and excluding purchases made by the Company under the current NCIB). Purchases on the NYSE American will be subject to daily limitations and other conditions regarding manner, timing, price and volume of purchases in order to qualify for the safe harbor provided under applicable U.S. securities laws.
