NOTICE TO THE MARKET

São Paulo, June 23, 2020 - BRASKEM S.A. (B3: BRKM3, BRKM5 and BRKM6; NYSE: BAK; LATIBEX: XBRK), hereby informs its shareholders and the market that, in alignment with its strategy to expand the use of clean energies in its industrial operations, it has signed an agreement to purchase renewable energy from Canadian Solar Inc. The agreement will help to make feasible the construction of a solar power plant in northern Minas Gerais state with installed capacity of 152 MWp that will guarantee supply to Braskem for 20 years.

Note that this is the third agreement for the purchase of competitive renewable energy signed by Braskem, which is nearing the mark of 1 million tons of CO2 emissions avoided through the use of solar and wind power purchase agreements.
