Declaration of Dividend
On September 24, 2026, Barnes & Noble Education, Inc. announced that its Board of Directors declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.08 per share of common stock. The dividend will be payable October 29, 2026 to stockholders of record as of October 14, 2026. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.

Barnes & Noble Education Announces Quarterly Cash Dividend
Florham Park, NJ, September 24, 2026 - Barnes & Noble Education, Inc. (NYSE: BNED) announced today that its board of directors declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.08 per share of common stock payable to shareholders of record as of October 14, 2026. The dividend will be payable on October 29, 2026.
