Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure.
On January 6, 2025, Byron L. Boston, the Co-Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dynex Capital, Inc. (the “Company”), posted content on his personal LinkedIn account that included certain financial metrics relating to the Company (the amount of the Company’s total capital and total assets), which were inadvertently included in error. The information provided was a misstatement of previously reported metrics and was not a release of information regarding the Company’s results of operations or financial condition for the recently completed fiscal year. Mr. Boston has since removed this incorrect information from his posted content. We note that his personal LinkedIn is not identified as one of the Company’s methods of conveying Regulation FD communications.
