Appointment of Susan Brennan to the Board of Directors

On June 3, 2023, Susan Brennan was appointed as a non-independent director of 5E Advanced Materials, Inc. (the “Company”). Ms. Brennan has served as the Company’s Chief Executive Officer since April 24, 2023. For additional details regarding Ms. Brennan, see our current report on Form 8-K filed on March 21, 2023. Ms. Brennan will not serve on any Board committees. Ms. Brennan does not have any family relationships with any current director or executive officer of the Company, and there are no transactions or proposed transactions to which the Company is a party, or intends to be a party, in which Ms. Brennan has, or will have, a material interest subject to disclosure under Item 404(a) of Regulation S-K. There are no arrangements or understandings with any other person pursuant to which Ms. Brennan was appointed as a director.

HESPERIA, CA., June 5, 2023 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) - 5E Advanced Materials, Inc. (Nasdaq: FEAM) (ASX: 5EA) (5E or the Company), a boron and lithium company with U.S. government Critical Infrastructure designation for its 5E Boron Americas (Fort Cady) Complex, is pleased to announce the appointment of current CEO, Ms. Susan Seilheimer Brennan, as a director to the Board.

Ms. Brennan recently joined the Company as Chief Executive Officer to lead the strategy of becoming a fully integrated and globally significant producer of boron, lithium and advanced materials, based in the United States of America.
