(b) On February 28, 2022, Lynn M. Utter, a director of NextEra Energy, Inc. (NextEra Energy), advised NextEra Energy’s Board of Directors that she will not stand for re-election as a director of NextEra Energy at the 2022 annual meeting of shareholders.
