Item 5.02    Departures of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

On April 30, 2021, Noelle M. Repetti, age 52, became the Principal Accounting Officer of California Resources Corporation (the “Company”). Mrs. Repetti joined the Company in August 2014 as Vice President – Tax, and she assumed additional duties and was appointed Vice President and Controller in August 2017. Mrs. Repetti is a certified public accountant who holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Loyola Marymount University and a Master’s degree in business taxation from the University of Southern California. Prior to joining the Company, Mrs. Repetti was a tax partner in the Los Angeles office of Deloitte Tax LLP.

Mrs. Repetti’s new role follows the previously announced retirement of Roy Pineci, Senior Vice President – Finance and the Company’s prior principal accounting officer, which also occurred on April 30, 2021.
