DFIN Named #1 Most Loved Workplace on the 2026 Global 100 Most Loved Workplaces®, Published in The Economist
// // NEW YORK , June 17, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Donnelley Financial Solutions (NYSE: DFIN), a leading global provider of financial regulatory and compliance solutions and the top SEC filing agent, has been named the #1 Most Loved Workplace on the 2026 Global 100 Most Loved Workplaces®, published today in The Economist . The list recognizes 100 organizations across more than 40 industries and six continents where employees report the highest levels of belonging, career advancement, and values alignment. DFIN earned its recognition through the Love of Workplace Index (LOWI), a proprietary employee sentiment assessment developed by Best Practice Institute (BPI). Unlike self-reported recognition programs, the LOWI measures what employees actually experience across five core dimensions: belonging and collaboration, values alignment, career achievement, positive future, and company respect. Every company on the 2026 Global 100 earned its place through validated employee data — not a form or a self-nomination. DFIN's achievement also reflects the principles that underpins how it supports clients every day. "Our teams have built a culture grounded in collaboration, accountability, and excellence," said Dan Leib, Chief Executive Officer of DFIN. "That foundation directly shapes how we serve our clients – delivering trusted solutions, high-quality service, and consistent results in complex, high-stakes environments." "This recognition is especially meaningful because it echoes the voices and experiences of our employees," said Kirk Williams, Chief People and International Officer of DFIN. "We are committed to fostering a culture where our people feel valued, supported, and empowered to do their best work. Being named the #1 Most Loved Workplace is a testament to the strength of our team and the atmosphere we've built together." "The companies recognized on the 2026 Top 100 Global Most Loved Workplaces® list understand that people want to be respected, heard, and valued from the CEO to the front line," said Louis Carter, Founder and CEO of Best Practice Institute and creator of the Most Loved Workplace® certification and rankings. "When people know their contributions matter and see their efforts making a real difference, they are more committed, perform at a higher level, and help drive stronger business results." The 2026 Global 100 Most Loved Workplaces® spans Financial Services, Information Technology, Biopharmaceuticals, Logistics, Professional Services, Renewable Energy, Home Services, and more. Published in The Economist, the list marks the first time the Global 100 has appeared in a major global business publication. DFIN Introduces AI-Powered iXBRL Tagging for SEC Filings, Delivering Breakthrough Speed, Accuracy, and Control for Regulatory Compliance
// // Newest capability within DFIN's Active Intelligence TM suite automates Inline XBRL tag generation and validation, reducing manual effort while maintaining compliance-grade precision. NEW YORK , June 10, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Donnelley Financial Solutions (NYSE: DFIN), a leading global provider of financial regulatory and compliance solutions and the top SEC filing agent, today announced the launch of its AI-powered iXBRL tagging capability, a first-of-its-kind advancement designed to transform how organizations prepare and submit SEC financial filings. The new solution combines advanced AI with expert human oversight to automate the tagging of regulatory filings, helping organizations improve speed, reduce manual effort, and maintain the control required in highly regulated reporting environments. DFIN is initially rolling out AI-powered tagging for Tailored Shareholder Reports (TSR) and N-CSR filings within its Arc Suite® software and for filings completed with DFIN's tech-enabled managed services offering for investment companies. The company plans to expand the capability to ActiveDisclosure SM , with other disclosure filings to follow. "Tagging touches nearly every regulatory filing, and the time required to properly complete it is significant," said Floyd Strimling, Chief Product Officer, DFIN. "With AI-powered iXBRL tagging, we're applying automation where it matters most: helping teams move faster, reducing manual effort, improving consistency, and shortening customer cycle times while maintaining the oversight required for confidence in compliance." iXBRL tagging is a mandatory step in SEC filing preparation, requiring every data element in a financial document to be mapped to the appropriate taxonomy before submission through the SEC's EDGAR system. Historically, this process has required specialized expertise, significant time, and thorough quality checks. DFIN's AI-powered tagging capability fundamentally changes this model. By combining large language models with deep SEC taxonomy knowledge and experience, captured within a client-specific knowledge base built on historical filing intelligence, the solution automates initial tag generation while enabling subject matter experts to focus on validation and refinement. The result is a hybrid human-in-the-loop model that delivers both efficiency and precision, with a clear path toward increasingly autonomous, end-to-end AI-driven workflows. Enterprise-Grade Security Built for Sensitive Data Recognizing that pre-submission regulatory filings contain highly sensitive, material non-public information, DFIN has built its AI tagging capabilities on a secure, enterprise-grade infrastructure designed to protect client data at every stage. Key safeguards include: Never using client data to train third-party LLMs, contractually enforced. Data remains within DFIN's private cloud, with strict isolation. Comprehensive audit logging |

DFIN Positioned to Help Public Companies Navigate SEC's Proposed Semiannual Reporting Framework
// // NEW YORK , May 6, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Donnelley Financial Solutions, Inc. (NYSE: DFIN), a leading global provider of financial regulatory and compliance solutions, today addressed the Securities and Exchange Commission's proposed amendments that would permit public companies to elect semiannual reporting on new Form 10-S in lieu of quarterly reporting on Form 10-Q. DFIN views the proposal as an important step in the broader conversation around reducing the cost, complexity and burden of being a public company, while maintaining the transparency and investor confidence that are essential to healthy capital markets. "Any thoughtful effort to modernize public company reporting should be evaluated through the lens of both issuer burden and investor confidence," said Craig Clay, President of Global Capital Markets at DFIN . "Whether companies ultimately report quarterly or semiannually, the need for accurate, timely, well-controlled and decision-grade disclosure does not go away. In fact, as reporting models evolve, integrated disclosure platforms like ActiveDisclosure become even more important." The SEC's proposal would allow eligible public companies to determine the interim reporting cadence that best serves their business and investors. While the final rule remains subject to public comment and future SEC action, the proposal raises several important implementation questions for issuers, including the scope of disclosure required in a semiannual filing, XBRL tagging requirements, the potential role of quarterly earnings 8-Ks, treatment of public debt obligations, and whether companies may choose to continue quarterly reporting. DFIN believes that flexibility in reporting frequency could be constructive for the IPO market and broader capital formation. Recent comments from SEC leadership suggest the focus is not only on the expense of going public, but increasingly on the ongoing expense and complexity of being public. Reducing that burden could improve attractiveness among companies considering a public listing and support healthier capital markets activity over time. At the same time, DFIN expects many public companies may continue to provide quarterly information to investors, whether through voluntary earnings calls, current reports on Form 8-K or other communications. Experience in other markets, including Europe, suggests that even when semiannual reporting is permissible, many companies continue quarterly reporting practices because of investor expectations, capital markets needs and internal governance discipline. DFIN is well positioned to support clients under either reporting model. The vast majority of 10-Qs filed by DFIN clients are prepared through ActiveDisclosure SM , DFIN's cloud-based financial disclosure and SEC reporting platform.
