Item 8.01 Other Events.

On June 16, 2022, Embassy Bancorp, Inc. (the “Company”), the holding company of Embassy Bank for the Lehigh Valley, issued a press release announcing that the Board of Directors declared an annual cash dividend of $0.35 per share, payable on July 15, 2022, to shareholders of record on June 30, 2022.

A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and is incorporated herein by reference.

Embassy Bancorp, Inc. Announces Annual Cash Dividend





BETHLEHEM, Pa. – June 16, 2022 - Embassy Bancorp, Inc. (OTCQX: EMYB) announced today that its Board of Directors has declared an annual cash dividend of $0.35 per share, payable on July 15, 2022, to shareholders of record on June 30, 2022.    This represents an increase over last year’s dividend and our 13th consecutive year of paying a dividend.
