Item 5.02.     Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

Effective July 24, 2023, Mr. Young-Joon Kim’s term as Interim Chief Financial Officer, as well as the principal financial officer and principal accounting officer, of Magnachip Semiconductor Corporation (the “Company”) concluded following Ms. Shin Young Park’s return from her maternity leave. Mr. Kim will continue in his role as Chief Executive Officer of the Company.

Biographical information for Ms. Park is available in the Company’s Annual Report on Form 10-K for the fiscal year ended December 31, 2022, filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on February 22, 2023, and such information is incorporated herein by reference.
