Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

On September 25, 2023, Kermit Nolan, the Corporate Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer of Synaptics Incorporated (the “Company”), informed the Company that he has decided to retire effective as of December 31, 2023. Dean Butler, the Chief Financial Officer of the Company, will assume the role of the principal accounting officer upon Mr. Nolan’s retirement, with Esther Song, Corporate Controller, continuing to lead the accounting function.
