On December 7, 2022, the Board of Directors of Univest Financial Corporation (the “Corporation”) appointed Jeffrey M. Schweitzer, the Company’s President and Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Board, to serve as Vice Chairman of the Board. This appointment reflects the Board’s intention to ensure strategic and leadership continuity for the Corporation. As President and Chief Executive Officer and Vice Chairman of the Board, Mr. Schweitzer will maintain his current chief executive responsibilities and also assist William S. Aichele, the current Chairman of the Board of the Corporation, as needed, with the leadership responsibilities for the Board.
