Item 8.01 Other Events.
West Bancorporation, Inc. (the "Company") is filing this Current Report on Form 8-K to amend the consent of RSM US LLP filed as Exhibit 23 to the Company's Annual Report on Form 10-K for the year ended December 31, 2021, filed by the Company with the Securities and Exchange Commission on February 24, 2022. The original consent inadvertently omitted a reference to the Company's Registration Statement on Form S-8 (File No. 333-255638). The revised and updated consent attached hereto as Exhibit 23 supersedes and replaces the original Exhibit 23 but does not change any previously reported financial results or any other disclosures contained in the Company's Annual Report on Form 10-K for the year ended December 31, 2021.
