PEORIA, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- RLI Corp. (NYSE: RLI) reported second quarter 2026 net earnings of $168.0 million ($1.82 per share), compared to $124.3 million ($1.34 per share) for the second quarter of 2025. Operating earnings (1) for the second quarter of 2026 were $76.9 million ($0.83 per share), compared to $76.2 million ($0.82 per share) for the same period in 2025. Other Income Net investment income for the quarter increased 17% to $46.0 million, compared to the same period in 2025. The investment portfolio’s total return was 3.4% for the quarter and 3.0% for the six months ended June 30, 2026. RLI’s comprehensive earnings were $165.7 million for the quarter ($1.80 per share), compared to $143.0 million ($1.55 per share) for the same quarter in 2025. In addition to net earnings, comprehensive earnings for 2026 included after-tax unrealized losses from the fixed income portfolio, due to rising interest rates. Dividends and Share Repurchase Program On June 12, 2026, the company paid a special cash dividend of $2.00 per share and a regular quarterly dividend of $0.18 per share, a 12.5% increase over the prior quarter. (NYSE: RLI) – RLI Corp. today announced that its Board of Directors declared a special cash dividend of $2.00 per share of common stock, which is expected to total approximately $184 million, and a regular quarterly cash dividend of $0.18 per share, a 12.5% increase over the prior quarter. 2026-01-05 Justin Doss Assumes Role of Vice President, Personal Lines Underwriting

PEORIA, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- RLI Corp. (NYSE: RLI) -- RLI Corp. today announced that Justin Doss has assumed the role of Vice President, Personal Lines Underwriting. In this executive role, he will lead underwriting and distribution strategy for RLI’s Personal Lines business. “Justin has been a key contributor to the disciplined and profitable growth of our Personal Lines business,” said RLI Corp. Chief Operating Officer Jen Klobnak. “His industry experience, ability to build strong relationships, lead with integrity and foster collaboration positions him for continued success in this new role.” Doss joined RLI in 2016 as Manager, Sales, for Specialty Personal Lines and has since held several leadership roles in sales and distribution, most recently serving as Vice President, Distribution and Strategic Partnerships. He brings more than 25 years of experience in personal lines underwriting, sales and agency operations to his new role.
