Item 8.01Other Events.
Uwharrie Capital Corp (the “Company”) and subsidiaries deeply regret to announce that Mr. Harvey H. Leavitt, III, a director of the Company, passed away October 31, 2022. Mr. Leavitt had been a director of the Company since 2015.
